Top Communication Apps in Latvia: Q1 2025 Performance Overview

In the first quarter of 2025, Latvia's communication app landscape saw notable activity across major platforms, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC experienced a steady fluctuation in weekly revenue, beginning the year at approximately $14.7K and closing March with $10.5K. Downloads decreased gradually, starting at 3.8K in early January and settling at 2.3K by the end of March.

Snapchat, developed by Snap Inc, showed varied revenue trends, peaking at around $5.9K in late March. Weekly downloads, however, saw a decline from 2K in the first week to 1.4K at the quarter's end.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out maintained consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $2K in early March. Downloads, though steady initially, dropped from 1.2K to 892 by the end of March.

Rakuten Viber Messenger by Viber Media showed modest revenue increases, reaching $298 in late March. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 300-400 range throughout the quarter.

Skype exhibited a slight decrease in revenue, ending March at $137 from a high of $355 in January. Downloads saw a downward trend from 288 to 127 during the same period.
